Spring News
Although I try to keep a low profile in the spring and summer months, I will be popping up in a few places. On April 23rd, at 7 p.m., I have been asked to give the Klein Reading at the University of Baltimore. I will read from "The Last Place," the next Tess Monaghan novel.
On April 25th, I'm at the Bethesda Literary Festival, appearing with Donna Andrews at McCormick and Schmicks restaurant at 6:30 p.m. We'll be talking about what it's like to leave one's day job at last. (Hint: It's very, very good.)
On May 1, I will interview Dick Francis at 6 p.m. at the Smithsonian. The auditorium has not yet been selected yet, but the q-and-a will be held at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C.
It wouldn't be May without Malice Domestic. I'll be on the "Totally Badness - the Bad Girls Meet the Bad Boys" panel with Elaine Viets, Dan Stashower and Parnell Hall at 4 p.m. May 4th. And at the end of May, I'm making my first trip to Mayhem in the Midlands in Omaha, Neb.
